การพัฒนาและการสุกแก่ของเมล็ดพันธุ์ปอเทือง Thai Agricultural

Study of sunn hemp seed development and maturation was studied at the Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai campus, Hat Yai, Songkhla, during March-June, 2008. The blooming flowers were tagged to indicate the date of flowering. Pods at 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 40, 43 and 46 days after flowering were harvested to investigate pod color, seed color and seed quality. The results showed that the sunn hemp had 6 developmental stages of pod color which were green, yellow-green, light grey-green, dark greygreen, grey-brown and grey-brown-black at 10-16, 19-28, 31, 34, 37-40 and 43-46 days after flowering, respectively. The research objectives were to investigate green manure species namely Crotalaria juncia on yield, yield components and nitrogen content of rice cv. Sangyodphatthalung was conducted in paddy soil condition of Phatthalung Soil Series. The experimental design was RCBD of which consisted of 7 treatments by using different seed rates (kg rai-1) as compared to chemical fertilizer i.e. 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 8-10-0 kg N-P2O5-K2O rai-1. The experiment was conducted to determine the effect of nutrient management and no-tillage system on rice growth and yield of rice. Experimental design was a randomized complete block with 4 replicates comprised 5 treatments: 1) Control (Conventional tillage and recommended fertilizer application) 2) Conventional tillage with sunn hemp incorporation 3) Conventional tillage with rice straw incorporation 4) No tillage with sunn hempmulching and 5) No tillage with rice straw mulching. The objective of this experiment was to study the effect of preceding legume-upland rice planting on soil fertility before succeeding sugarcane planting. The experimental design was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four replications.
